Richard Groves successfully blend the barn’s oldies style and the architecture’s modern style that converted the barn along Canada and Connecticut into an enjoyable resident. The architect spices up the house by attaching fashionable gadget and furniture but maintains the prevailing structure of the barn. The lamps hanging on the wooden ceiling reminds me of the pub’s lamp, a contrast look with the stairs. Two white sofas and one long chair adorn the family room where you can do activity and watch the snow falling outside the window.
The living room signifies the stylish furniture as it is embodied through the choice of unique chairs. Then, travel to the kitchen, you will see an austere style with metallic equipment surrounded and with two marble-mosaic walls. Moreover, its bedroom, in my perception, is the most dazzling place as if you won’t want to leave. It is really the perfect touch of traditional style seen from the handicraft displayed on the black shelf and of modern style seen from the black ebony furniture.
